Guidelines for Submitting your Comic Strip
Are you a cartoonist looking to get syndicated? Do you just do comic strips for fun? Do you know a good strip not listed on my site? Either way, we'd like to hear from you. Please read ALL of the items below before submitting any comic strip. Here are my guidelines for site submissions:
  1. No pornographic comic strips!
  2. No comic strips that promote hate or racism.
  3. No comic strips with massive profanity! The 'F' word is a no-no!! I will NOT put your strip into the collective!!
  4. Any site that has an association with the Gator! Corporation will NOT be put into the collective!  Anytime I see those baka's attempting to install their spyware on my PC from your site, I get very angry and that is it!  Now, if you cut them off, I'll let you in but I will check to see if you go back.  If you do, you'll be removed without warning!  No exceptions!
  5. I reserve the right to not place your strip here if you ignore any of these rules!
  6. I need the title of the comic strip (required in the form).
  7. I need the URL of the comic strip (required in the form).
  8. Let me know if the strip going for syndication.  This is just for my own knowledge. 
  9. Give me a brief description of what the comic strip is about (required in the form). Keep it to a few sentences if possible. Keep in mind that I reserve the right to edit your remarks change them as I see fit. Also I may add additional comments, especially if I like your strip.
  10. Give me a link graphic!!! You don't have to e-mail it to me. In fact, I'd prefer if you had it on your site somewhere. It doesn't have to be on one of your pages. If you've created a graphic just for use on AstroNerdBoy's Comic Strips, just send me the URL of where to get it. (ie: http://www.pcisys.net/~astronerdboy/comics/wow1.gif) I will save the graphic file to my site and use it. NO BANNERS.  Eventually I will convert this site to a database site and will need all my graphics to be no larger than 120x120.  Animated graphics are fine as long as they are not to large in file size. Try to use a graphic that shows characters of your strip as well as the title (if possible). The goal here is to promote your strip!

    NOTE:  If you want a "More Info" page, use the HTML from one of the various MORE INFO or links in the syndicated/web sections.  Replace the info there with your info and include your image here as well.  If you have books for sell at Amazon.com, list those as well.  Then send me the html and image(s).  I will then edit (if required) and post them.
     
  11. Be sure to include your name as it appears on your strip.
  12. Let me know what copyright information to include, even if it is just your name.
  13. Throw me a link from your site! It doesn't have to be fancy or special, just a link and AstroNerdBoy's Comic Strips. Whatever else you decide to say or include with my link is your call. *smile* If you'd like a graphic, here's some you can use. Please link it to http://www.astronerdboy.com/comic-strips. However it is VERY important to throw the link back to me. The more of you that link to me, the more popular my site becomes and the greater the odds that I can increase YOUR traffic!
  14. IF YOU ARE REFERRING A STRIP TO ME, PLEASE LET THAT CARTOONIST KNOW AND ASK HIM/HER TO THROW ME A LINK!! GET A BANNER HERE!
This will help me get your site uploaded much faster than I am able to at present. I promise that I WILL visit ALL sites sent to me! If you don't hear from me right away, don't worry. I'm not ignoring you! As soon as I get your URL added, I will send you an e-mail to let you know. Thanks for understanding and for being patient with me!
Speaking of 'cool', don't feel bad if I don't give your comic strip the COOL mark. All that means is that I found a comic strip to my liking. Not receiving the COOL mark doesn't mean your strip is a bad one. Your strip just did not do it for me. Whew! Is that enough?

Submit your Strip
If you accept the lengthy (but simple) list of rules above, fill out this form:
What is the title of your comic strip?
What is the URL of your comic strip? (Please include the http://)
Are you going for syndication?
Give a brief description of what your strip is about. Don't hit "return" unless you are doing a separate paragraph.It makes it easier for me to copy-and-paste. *grin*
What is the URL of the graphic you'd like me to use as a linker (include the http://)? Please point to an actual graphic (.gif/.jpg) like the example below.
(ie: http://www.astronerdboy.com/banner03.gif)
DON'T SEND ME SOME MONSTER 640x480 100K GRAPHIC! Just use common sense when it comes to sending nice, respectable graphics about 120x120 in size. 
What is YOUR name? If you are submitting for someone else, please note their name as well. If you are a duo, please place BOTH names. : )

Updates for your Strip
Once your strip is included, please keep me informed if the following things happen:
  1. URL change! Obviously if your URL changes I'm not going to be able to send you new readers!
  2. Major site changes! If your improve the look/feel of your site, let me know!
  3. Major comic strip change! Has your comic strip changed it's theme? Tone? Become a totally new comic strip? Let me know!
  4. Your e-mail address changes!
  5. You get syndicated!! This will get you a front page promotion (even if you are not a 'cool' strip) to include a 'newsflash' blurb and inclusion on the news page.
